Butter Tarts
1/4 cup butter, softened
1/4 cup packed brown sugar
pinch of salt
1/2 cup corn syrup
1 egg, slightly beaten
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
In a large bowl, mix together butter, brown sugar, salt and corn syrup. Stir well. Add egg and vanilla and mix well.
Divide mixture evenly between 16 tart shells. Bake at 400 degrees for 15-20 minutes.
